Production support Production support is directed to new dance works and projects. In decision-making the regional dimension is taken into account. JoJo mainly produces contemporary dance but also other styles of dance like flamenco and show dance as well as productions combining different styles. The choreographer/ group is presumed to be professional with previous artistic merit and a willingness to participate in audience development work. We also have to notify that student works will not be considered in granting partial production support and that the chosen productions also need self-financing. The application period is once a year in April. Late applications are rejected. 2. Mini production support Mini production support is appropriated for dancers who are starting their career. Mini production support can be applied for small-scale or work in progress type of projects. Mini production support covers, for example, performance space rents, technique and marketing. Open application time.3. Residence support Residence support includes the use of residence apartment in the city centre and a use of rehearsal space. (NB! The apartment can be in use of other artists at the same time). The apartment and rehearsal space offer an opportunity to concentrate on artistic work and development. Dance artists can apply for residence based on their own artistic interest. There may be, for instance, preparing and presenting a piece, presenting work in progress, work shops and dance classes etc. The purpose of the residence activity is to promote dance dialogue in the region.
